Which side are you on? Which side are you on? -- Old union song.
Togetherness is oversold. Especially by politicians and statesmen, who sometimes hide their courage under the teacup of compromise and multilateralism. But there are times when all of us have to decide which side we are going to be on, not for an evening's argument but for the long haul. The Iraq war is one of those moments.

The soldier said: "I love it, sir. I truly do. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else right now." God bless America.

I see no reason why Army Specialist Kiehl's parents in Comfort, Texas, should sit down with the protesters in New York or San Francisco to find common ground. There is none. Amen!

FWIW, I work in Rockafeller Center. The "protest" featured so prominently in the national media lasted about an hour and involved MAYBE 250 people. They took up about a city block. The cops had everything under control, and they arrested people who tried to block traffic. By 10:30 AM, you wouldn't have know there ever was a protest. At lunchtime, Rock Center was business as usual, filled with highschoolers on a class trip and mothers taking little ones ice skating. So much for "bringing the city to its knees."

On MSNBC Keith Olbermann asked the parents of James Kiehl..... Just shows how often I turn to PMSNBC. I had no idea this f***ing communist piece of pig-s**t was back on.

The reminds me. I was meaning to write the Program Director of 770 WABC radio in NY (Rush & Hannity's home station) about him. He does an occasional sports update that always becomes an annoying editorial. He has no business being on that station.

"Common Ground" There was a day small town Texas felt we were all New Yorkers, the day New Yorkers took a hit for all of America. It is to prevent another such day occurring to others that we send our small town men and women in harms way.God Bless America.

And when this is all over, we here in NYC, and you there in small town Texas will not forget those who have forgotten.

Thank you for posting this article. You and MEG33 put it so well that anything I could say would be inadequate, but thank you. I didn't know about what the brave soldier said until I read this. I love those brave men and women out fighting for us like they were my own flesh and blood.
