Doesn't appear to be so. According to FNC, right now, Williamsburg is closed the others are being inspected.I can see the Brooklyn Bridge, which has remained open. The Manhattan Bridge was closed but appears to be being re-opened right now. They continued to send trains across it even when traffic was stopped. The Williamsburg appears to still be closed, although I can't see that one as well.

I wasn't sure if that was what you were getting at. You think that the entire news media empire collaborates to suppress news?

Don't forget the Midtown and Brooklyn Battary Tunnel. It would be pretty hard to completely shut down access through an attack. I wonder if they are also being inspected?

FBI is uncertain if this is terrorist related.......... They are going to have a hard time explaining this one away so quickly. Middle eastern men don't go sliding down ropes off of major bridges every day. The public should demand answers on this one. It's almost exactly the time of morning that they've struck in the past.

The Williamsburg bridge spans the East River and connects Manhattan and Brooklyn.

You cannot create panic in NYC. Yes I do believe that they suppress news all the time. They didn't repel on ropes because they arrested them on the bridge. Thats what a caller is saying now. He said that there was a lot a cops on top of them! heheh do mess with the NYPD

CNBC reporting a Reuters wire saying that either local officials or the FBI saying that this isn't terrorism related (*).
(*) terrorism is defined not to include people who vomit in the streets or chain themselves to a building, or just in general act like asses

That's if we got the right story to begin with.

25+ years ago I knew a Lebanese Christian Girl from Springfield Gardens. Her mother worked for Air France at JFK. She had four sisters 8-19 years old. She took me over to her aunt's brownstone near Atlantic Avenue. Her aunt owned a service station on Atlantic Avenue and kept a Haitian girlservant in virtual endentured servitude in the basement. The Haitian girl who spoke no English, brought us tea and biscuits while wearing black-with-white-lace get-up straight out of P.G. Wodehouse.
It was strange-strange world. I'm sure it's only gotten stranger since.
