To: Enemy Of The State
Every sentence here is asinine and easily refuted. I'll just take this one:

Freedom is not a gift that can be given. If the Iraqi people are powerless to free themselves from oppression without the assistance of the United States, the Iraqi people are dependent on the United States for their freedom and are therefore not free.

I think this pea-brain is saying that the American Civil War was a mistake. That freedom for the slaves was not something that the North could give them. It would have been better has the abolitionists just shut up and allowed the blacks to remain slaves. And they should have remained slaves until they took it upon themselves to stage a massive, bloody slave revolt.

Since they did not free themselves, Blacks in America are not free.

Im a recent graduate from a "liberal" university, and John Johnson's comments are not surprising to me. Just typical regurgitation with no real thought to what is coming out, but i can guarantee that its mostly beer and bong water.
