More crap from Bull Sh#t University. They love to wrap themselves in te flag while reading the Constitution one day and then burn the flag and wipe their collective a$$es with the Constitution the next.

"Dr." Billy needs to go back and take a remedial American History class. We're a Constitutional Republic, not a democracy.

So much for the Bush v. Gore 5-4 decision, a.k.a. judicial tyranny, that some folks dare call treason.

He's either lying or ignorant. The original Supreme Court decision was 9-0! The 5-4 decision was the decision on remediation.

Maybe this guy only reads at the 4th grade level.

Sure, and if it had gone 5-4 the other way, Gore would have gotten his recount, and as all the subsequent analysis showed, lost anyway!

There are so many fallacies and misconceptions (I really am too kind) in the good Doctors argument, that it would require a rather lengthy piece to refute all of them. (His equating of 18th cent. liberalism with 20th cent. liberalism begs for a rebuttal of what could be book-length.)

It is pleasant to note the degree of his irritation with arguments presented by the other side. Can one actually die of apoplexy?

"So much for the Bush v. Gore 5-4 decision . . ."

The pertinent decision re the count was 7-2. Jeez, did this guy get any of his facts right? Pointy-heady, elitist, dipwad.

Sorry to do a DU stoop to name calling, but there are so many things wrong about this it's sad, truly sad.

Paschal and I have butted-heads in the local "Letters to the Editor" section of the Anderson Herald-Bulletin before. He is a liar and dissembler who spent the 1990's living his life vicariously through Monica Blewinski.

Example? The above letter splits hairs on the legality of the Bush II presidency. Guess where Paschal was when predator-in-chief WJC was splitting hairs about the meaning of the word "is"? That's right: it was all about the sex, he claimed. Screw the rights of the women attacked or harrassed by WJC! To hell with the equal protection clause!.

Btw, Paschal's views are routinely challenged in the Muncie and Anderson, Indiana, local papers by the thinking people of those fine cities. As of yet, he has not made a single, rational, rebuttal. When someone accused him in print of being a Liberal/Socialist, his reply was that he couldn't be, because he had acquaintences who were Republican!
Wow. Hard to debate such knife-edged logic as that, eh?

Paschal is just another hate-America quasi-intellectual commie/socialist college prof feeding at the teat of the very country he so despises; and who cannot figure out why it is always so dark around him and smells like his own toilet. </rant off>

PS: Where the heck was the barf alert?

Many of these liberal arts professors are nothing then leftist shills. They are elitist, condesending and contemptious about everyone that doesn't share their world view. They can rant and rave from their pulpit and not have to worry about losing their job, because they are protected by tenure.

What is even worse is that these vermin liberal art professors can reproduce. In most universities, graduate students are required to have a faculty advisor, who has life and death control over whether they receive their advanced degree. These graduate students learn to espouse the values and ideals of their faculty advisor, and then upon graduation, go out and spew thair anti-conservative, anti-American gutter hatred. They support free speech, yet deny it to their opponents...

Whew, I am feeling rather nasty this morning...

I see plenty of logical rebuttals to Paschal here. Why not respond to him in the forum of his choice, the BSU newspaper: http://www.bsudailynews.com/vnews/display.v/ART/2003/03/28/
Remember to CC the perfessor itself: 00bjpaschal@bsu.edu

Paschal has been proved wrong time and time again. Maybe it's time we asked, "Are you a liar, or just ignorant?"

Re: Your letter to the Editor in the BSU Daily News of 03/28/03.

You were right in quoting Voltaire when he said, "It is dangerous to be right in matters on which the established authorities are wrong."

I'm sure the students in your classes who dare to be right while you are so wrong end up on the receiving end of your wrath.

Regarding Bush's "election," even Ken Starr admits in his new book on the Supreme Court that the Court's preeminence does not stem from the Constitution, but is simply a continuation of politics. So much for the Bush v. Gore 5-4 decision, a.k.a. judicial tyranny, that some folks dare call treason.

I've not read Starr's book "First Among Equals", but I'll bet a week's pay that there is no such statement, or that any related statement by Starr meant just the opposite.

Heck, I'd bet a week's pay this guy never read the book.

Here is the text of the email I sent to this retard:

Hey Billy-

Just so you know, we live in a Constitutional Republic. If you cared to read any of the founders own words you would know that they despised the idea of democracy in and of itself. Democratic values, yes, Democracy no.

Also be aware the American public is getting a clue about the Communist in our midst. They are learning who you are and what your real protest is to this war...the fact that freedom and liberty from oppression will be sown across the Middle East like seeds in springtime. We know who you are and what you stand for and we are going to shout it from the mountains and inform everyone we can.

I hope you have a lovely day!!
