Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
Special thanks to null and void for keeping these running on the weekend, to all of you for keeping these threads alive, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

Good points re the press.
They've become mere stenographers, dutifully taking down the DNC talking points of the day and turning them into hostile questions.

I'm willing to bet that the press that has been bitching will totally ignore the fact that Hussein is targeting civilians.

Your tinfoil is showing dear...:-) One of these days I have to get you a picture of my class on hat day in school. Everyone of the kids made a tin foil hat to wear for the day. The principal almost broke a gasket laughing when he walked into my room.

Not one of ours. Do the Kuwaitis know this? They seem to be blaming the "infidels"...and if memory serves me, that's us.
I'm sorry if someone else already answered, and I've been surfing so can't say if it was Fox or MSNBC, but the reporter said the crowd sang their national anthem and were chanting to the effect that Saddam's days were numbered.
Sounds like they are NOT blaming us.

"Someone reported it came in from the water. A Silkworm maybe fired from a boat would not trip the radar."
And a cruise missle like that might have a much better chance of hitting KC than a Scud/Al-whatever-derivative
To: GOPyouth
Voila! Shep gets this, asks where military installations are in relation to the missile hit (obviously...civilians were targeted).
To: WI Conservative 4 Bush
I know what you mean. Another FReeper about 20 or so posts back also noted the abundance of shrapnel evident in KC and the total ABSENCE of shrapnel at the Baghdad sites. Quite a find and astute observation.

well, I gotta go check the earthquake site now. My entire house shook a few minutes ago. Both my son and I asked at the same time, "what was that". So I'm going to go see if we had one. Coulda just been a big snowplow way down the road but they usually don't shake my house! Be back!
