An outspoken evangelical Christian leader who has called Islam a "wicked religion" plans to bring relief aid to post-war Iraq amid early signs that his efforts will not be appreciated by American Muslim leaders.

Franklin Graham, son of the Rev. Billy Graham, says the main objective of his group, Samaritan's Purse, will be to assist Iraqi refugees and others who are displaced, sick and hungry.

Listened to some cassette tapes of Franklin's experience in I believe Somalia. Very eye opening.

Franklin's got a lot of faith to go into Muslim's countries like that. There will be some souls saved as a result.

There are Christians in Iraq. May not be the kind Mr. Graham is most familiar with, but they are there - have been for a couple of thousand years.

"There are Christians in Iraq."

I know there are. And I've heard that they probably have been treated fairer relatively speaking than they would have in most other muslim countries.

But since Saddam didn't treat anyone well, Christians in Iraq do not have many resources to show their generosity and love for others with. That's one of the reasons why what Franklin is doing is important.

It's a shame Muslims don't have the courage to let Christians speak about their faith. Islam is a weak religion that cannot stand competing ideas. That's part of the reason why the Islamists hate the west so much. Democracy and education will destroy Islam over time.

Nothing like stark contrast to get people rethinking their priorities. Islam thrives in darkness and is fueled by fear. The love of Christ dispels fear and brings light.

Yeah, I knew that wasn't the founder of CAIR a head of the islamic Association for Palestine, a HAMAS-symp group?
