Thank you for the condolences. We went to church today and the my dear sweet husband swung us by with the car to the rally so I could get a few photos to post on FR. I guess we caught the last 15 minutes of the rally. It was a decent size crowd for a rainy day. I have no idea if there were any Freepers there or not because I couldn't possibly see everyone in the crowd and even if I could, I don't know what all the Freepers in our area look like!
I just got in and have to leave in 15 minutes to go see the funeral director to make the arrangements for my mom's services. I am not sure how to post the photos...have to find a place to host them I guess. Okay....If I'm not too tired I may work on that tonight but I can't promise.
Because I was not at the whole rally I can't report on much of it but I will report on what I can.

Sunday's Rally:-
The rally started at 1:00pm and ended 2:15pm with approximately 100 to 150 people on site. It was a calm crowd as most of the speeches were given by the councilmen & councilwomen from the neighborhood. Interspersed among those speakers were a few men who served in World War II and Vietnam. One former officer said when he was "approached" by anti-protesters he just told them if you don't like this country then it's 15 minutes to Laguardia Airport or 15 minutes to Kennedy Airport!

I am sorry but I didn't even know there was ever a bowling alley there. But, nice to meet you.
