[history]
March 27, 2003 -- Angry U.S. officials accused the Iraqis yesterday of committing war crimes and employing an arsenal of dirty tricks on the battlefield - even using wounded children as a ruse to fire on American troops.
They charged Saddam Hussein's troops had feigned surrender and then shot at American forces, and had used hospitals and other civilian sites as staging areas for military operations.

employing an arsenal of dirty tricks Just as the Radical Left throws out the rules as they protest here. They must all learn from the same manuals.

Why would any of this surprise anyone (other than the Pro-Saddam demonstrators who aren't listening)? He is still treating our people much better than he has treated his own!
I really wonder though; what do the Pro-Saddam demonstrators have against the Iraqi people?

Hey, Tariq. Does Nuremburg or the phrase "Spandau ballet" ring any bells?

Tidbit on Muslim history and "culture":
Muhammed's grandson, I believe it was, first put Karbala Gap on the map by losing his last battle at that location (spreading the religion of peace, no doubt). When he discovered that he couldn't win, he attempted a dialogue, parleying in person with a baby in hand -- his own son or grandson-- "to show his good intentions," according to the reporter I was listening to.
Riiiiight. Shows something else besides "good intentions", I don't care how ya spin it. The enemy, by the way, killed them both.

I strongly object to equating these genetic defective scum to ferrets. Ferrets are brave, loyal, great hearted creatures, each one a true embodiment of the warrior spirit. They are in no way similar to Iraqis.

In a speech at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa yesterday, President Bush promised to bring "this band of war criminals" to justice. "[Their] idea of courage is to brutalize unarmed prisoners," he said. "They wage attacks while posing as civilians. They use real civilians as human shields. They pretend to surrender, then fire upon those who show them mercy." Of course they do, Mr. President. They do it because the world has determined that terrorists are morally equivalent to soldiers, and becuase there are no longer any serious penalties for behaving like terrorists but many advantages are to be gained when doing so. It is only natural then for nations to use terrorism for its deniability and for men to become terrorists to gain advantage; and if the treatment is the same as for soldiers on capture, and leaders are not held accountable if caught but at the most might be sentenced to life in a country club prison, then why not? We must restore the distinctions that have been blurred by Marxist professors and years of political correctness before it is too late.

Really? So does that mean that any way I can come up with to destroy them is acceptable? (Evil grin!)

I protest the use of the word ferrets. Ferts are noble animals.
Can you tell I am a proud owner of carpet sharks? ;)

These Fedayeen have to be exterminated to the last man. They have no right to exist in a civilized world. They must be put down like rabid dogs. Judging from their behavior, I don't think we need worry about taking any of them prisoner.
"Any way we can confuse the enemy . . . is acceptable,"
Keep talking, Tariq. Every day that goes by is a day you're closer to a war crimes trial.
