If you watch the traffic on the Bag Cam, there seems to be an unusual frequency of big old "Adam 12" looking police cruisers passing by . . . anyone know what a regular Baghdad cop car looks like? Or is a black and white color scheme just popular in a place like that?

Reminds me of when my husband signed up for the marines. Several of his friends were all excited when they enlisted in '70....the recruiter had told them they were going to get a "free wardrobe worth $300.00", courtesy Uncle Sam....little did they know...it was all usmc uniforms.

Yeah, *L*, we all got sucked in. Lots of broken promises that 1st week in boot camp. I went back home after basic for recruiter duty. I hung out at my high school trying to pick up wimmens instead of recruiting my buddies. Hey, might as well put that uniform to use right?

I don't hate the music so much (though it does get tiresome hearing the same lines repeated over and over and over) as I hate Barry Sadler's line: "I served my time in Vietnam. But I wasn't the only soldier there. There was another soldier there: Christy Lane."

I always want to say, "Actually, Barry, I understand there were several other soldiers there."
