Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
Special thanks to null and void for keeping these running over the weekend and Monday, to all of you for keeping these threads alive, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

Yes..I want to know why this "human rights" idiot isn't on protesting Iraq shooting our POWs between the eyes!

"I submit that Mara DOES know who floated this story first, and they are all trying to dodge the fact that it WASN'T the administration."
I think you've got it there.

Human Rights Idiot of the Week equates keeping a terrorist up past his beddy-bye with shooting American POWs in the head. Gooooood - keep shoveling that bull manure, you pencil-necked geek.

O'Rielly was talking to Colonel Hunt earlier.
Hunt said twice: "The first guy who operated in the field was an enemy soldier!"
He really emphasized this. Does someone know what he means?

Yeah, I heard that they haven't used it YET also.
Also saw and interesting article in today's Chicago Suntimes where Gen. Tommy says he's sick of all these talking head armchair Generals. Says the are still in the war mindset of 1991 and military tactics, weapons, intelegence, etc has grown leaps and bounds. Many of these Generals that are giving their color comentary, opinions retired after GW1 and shouldn't be giving outdated opinions. (paraphrasing)

I saw where Martin Sheen led an anti-war prayer vigil. I'll bet it's the first time he's tried religion.

He meant the first guy that was operated on in the battlefield by a US Military Doctor was an Iraqi soldier.

"The first guy who operated in the field was an enemy soldier!" Col. Hunt said earlier that the first guy operated on in our field hospital was an Iraqi soldier...

Perle is still staying on as a member, just not as the chair.
REALLY bad move, in my opinion...we should've done whatever it took to make him stay on as chair.

Colonel Hunt was saying that the Marines opened the first field hospital in Iraq, and the first patient they operated on was a wounded Iraqi soldier.

New pencil-neck on now ... "all the Canadian hockey fans who booed the Star-Spangled Banner have apologized." Did you get a signed statement from each one?

It's the same old story.....Roth, the Human Right's guy, throws in comments like "yes, we agree Saddam is bad" and then the all telling word "but". It's the same as these self hating Americans who say I support the troops "but" I don't support the war .........lol
