The Japanese know that their future lies with the US. It's good business for them to support us. Enlightened self-interest can be the most trustworthy of motives.

On other news, I see the American UN ambassador walked out of meeting after repeated lies and insults from the Iraqi ambassador. The UN will hopefully remain well out the Iraqi situation.

I don't remember his name but I belive his title was Air Marshall. For a second I thought he was going to kick the guy from Al Jezeera's butt.....I'm proud the US is associated with allies like him and UK, some people remember their fate in WW II was resolved by US blood & treasure, and some like France don't.
