"We are living through a moment of deep divisions, which, if not healed, can have grave consequences for the international system and relations between states." The UN knows about graves, alright. They have helped to fill more graves then they have prevented being dug.

This SOB Annan is STILL lying per his quote above that the U.S. is acting unilaterally in this war. The count is now...what...over 50 nations at our side helping openly or covertly?

"All of us must regret that our intense efforts to achieve a peaceful solution through this council did not succeed," he said. "We are living through a moment of deep divisions, which, if not healed, can have grave consequences for the international system and relations between states." I see Clinton's writing his stuff for hime now...

THIS JUST IN: "
Kofi Annan has appeared saying that he has new
inspectors (picture below) and will try to fund fewer terrorists and slavers
if only the US will give him more money for his .... habits.

It took a while but finally Annan understands. First - You're either with us or you're with the terrorists. He understands now. Second - He understands that the U.N., and his own sorrowful self, are now irrelevant. It took a while, but now, he understands.

He said faith in the United Nations could only be restored if the council worked on specific goals for Iraq, including tapping into billions of dollars in Iraqi oil revenue to finance the emergency aid under the U.N. oil-for-food program, which is still stalled in the council. Well, I guess that means it will never be restored then, Mr. Annan, cause you ain't getting your greedy little fingers on a quart of Iraqi oil.
Here we see why the Leftists have been ranting 'it's all about oil'. They have simply been projecting---for now it is clear that they covet that oil very much.

Annan, however, criticized both Iraq for neglecting arms inspectors and the United States for acting unilaterally.
And another left-hand a$$wiper Islamazi shows that he can't count...
Hey, Coffee Anus...at last count the "Coalition of the Willing" was near 40! The "Axis of Weasels" is 4, with some peripheral hangers-on.

I saw a short newsclip of Blix today saying that maybe the inspectors could go in now and they would be more apt find things. He said something to the effect that it might be easier now because the scientists would be more apt to speak freely without Saddam's men standing watch. (i've reworded it....but that's the gist) I'm guessing he knows what we're uncovering. NOW he wants to "help"? What a major clymer! Arghhh!

Famous Annus still thinks his opinions are of any interest to President Bush..
When President Bush wants a statement from Famous Annus, Bush will provide the statement....
The U.N. is finished... I hope.

As a liberal (please don't hurt me :))who has found herself so brutally jerked into conservatism that I am sure I have whiplash, I think the UN buildin' would make a loverly shopping Mall. And Blix (and whomever the other slackasses where who couldn't find a dang ONE acre buildin'!) should be dropped in the middle of Antartica to find 10,000 marshmallows. THEN they can come home.
Hrmpt, idjits.
And don't get me started on France...
In the mean time, you will find me at the "It's a Small World" ride a Disney, snapping the heads off of selective dolls.

LOL. Welcome.
I'm a liberal too, but a classical liberal (Jeffersonian liberal).
I am definitiely not a liberal by the modern understanding. I am an enemy of socialism, marxism and utopianism all of which which are foundations of modern liberals.
To: najida
Not to fear.. I am all bite and no bark.. uurrrrr.
The UN building is in sad shape and needs millions and millions of dollars of work to bring it up to code, it would be cheaper to raze it and rebuild.
And Yes, It is a Small World!
It's OK to be a liberal, just keep your mind open and you'll do OK.
We'll save bashing France for the next slow news day. ;-)

Please fax, phone and email your homeboys and the White House, and insist that our government pulls the US out of the UN NOW!
I've been searching for several nites now to find Kofi and the UN statements condemning the treatment of US and British POWS. I'm still waiting! Their silence is deafening. Get the US out of the UN! NOW!
