Either this is disinformation, wrong, or we just don't plain give a damn if Iraq knows. Fox isn't going to say this without clearance.

Yes, Saddam, I'm sure the 101st is gonna line up shoulder-to-shoulder in a straight line and walk straight into Baghdad :-)

I think we want them to know.
Just like we've wanted them to know all about the forces coming from the south (with use of "embedded" journalists and live reports).
I think we've got an ace up our sleeves, and it's hiding and waiting somewhere to the northwest of Baghdad.

Did we bomb the Republican Guard that were heading South in a convoy? If not. Why didn't we?

The 101st is still in Kuwait - at least that's what we've been told.

They are moving stuff around on the front. The weather has cleared and the guys are good to go!
That's about all! That is what poised means in military jargon.(Awaiting orders, fueled up and ready to kick some butt)
To: MEG33
Good. Thanks!

Just as long as there isn't a SNAFU, because then it would be FUBAR, if they had to hurry up and wait.

The 101st Airborne has been eerily quiet for the past 5 days. Speculation is that they have secured the H1 airfield west of Baghdad and are poised to strike from that position. We'll know in a few days.
