"All I'm saying is that Islam has been misrepresented, and a lot of people don't understand the religion of Islam," Bilal said. "And the problem is, the stereotyping and the discrimination, I can't say exactly, directly, if that was Asan's case," he saidSorry, but a story like this in the middle of a war is completely unacceptable.
The SOB's at ABC are directly responsible for trying to turn a treacherous allah worshipping murderous traitor bastard into a sympathetic figure.
This scumbag will hang, and the DNC, Al Sharpton , and Jesse "Extortion" Jackson won't be able to do anything about it.

...that it was difficult for a black man "to make rank" in the military.
Hmmm. That's funny, since there is this very articulate Br. General (Brooks, I presume) at CENTCOM who is in charge of giving mission details every (local time) afternoon. Last time I checked, being a Br. General is pretty good up the ladder.
Sounds like "blame everyone else but me" syndrome.
Besides, did we put a gun to his head to make him enlist or re-up? I don't think so...

Interesting. The day after he did it, his mother was saying he's a nice boy, he was framed, the military wouldn't let him fight in Iraq because of his last name, yada yada. He had a normal name until his mother hooked up with a Muslim and changed it. Perhaps his family is trying to sell us that 'Islam is a race' crap.
He's a murderer. Not only is he a murderer, he murdered men who trusted him to protect their backs and who would have protected HIS back as well. He broke one of humanity's greatest trusts.
Hang him.

His stepfather, William Bilal, who was once married to Akbar's mother, Quran Bilal, said that his stepson was resentful toward the military and had complained several years ago that it was difficult for a black man "to make rank" in the military.
I'm sure Colin Powell appreciates that statement.

Sorry not a defense. Why do so many mothers always say that they had a good kid right up to the time they killed someone.

"I was shocked really because he was one of the quietest ones in the neighborhood, he kept to himself and you wouldn't expect anything like that from him at all," said Heather Dill. Maybe not you, but everyone else who hasn't been living under a rock in the serial/spree/mass killer era. Where do they find these people?

And it's just a coincidence the first black man to do this just happened to be Muslim...

U.S. Army Sgt. Asan Akbar was a wackjob and Islam made it worse. Also no apology from Muslim step dad. Just blaming others.

The family is right. Their son does appear to have been a racist.
I was saddened that this racists was not the subject of a summary judgement and in-theater execution.

Alternative loyalty oath:
"I, Asan Akbar, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Koran against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same;"

As disgusting as this is, I would say this is a smart move for the father. That could be the only way he can save his son....bring race into it and all of a sudden his future death becomes a "lynching"...now do we think our PC'ized military will stand up to that s#!t?

"Merino County"Here we have another shining example of ABC's "accuracy in media!" As you know, doug from upland, my fellow Californian, there are 58 counties in CA and NONE of them are known as "Merino County."
Plus, I didn't see the fact that he attended the UC Berkely Annex in Yolo County known as UC Davis! (aka, "The Peoples Republic of Davis)
Now this here UC Davis has a world renowned veterinary medical school and they did accomplish the world's first known brain transplant from a chimpanzee to a human who is still a tenured professor in said university, teaching envirosocialcommonism to this very day!!! (Angela Davis is still subverting the predominant paradigm along with calypso louie)

I guess that's a better excuse than "Allah made me do it". Family's excuse last week was he was feeling bad about the prejudice against muslims.
I guess that didn't work cuz this week their excuse was predudice against him being black.
Left wing victimhood at it's finest.
Fry him. If he wants to be a victim of the left wing thought process, make it so. More and more Americans aren't buying it any more.

When you're a liberal or Muslim, it's always somebody else's fault. This little scumbag freak killed 2 people and wounded 14 but he's the victim.

Why is he alive?
