It's not politically correct to have English class. In California (I know - it's California) it is now called "Language Arts".

Come to think of it, we took Language Arts in junior high. We were back to English by high school, though.

It's not politically correct to have English class. In California (I know - it's California) it is now called "Language Arts". When I was a kid the school called it "Language Arts" too but none of the kids did. It was English to us. But then again, we never referred to History as "Social Studies" either, in spite of the PC brigades mandates.
