Tucson Arizona Support the Troops Rally

There is a rally scheduled in support of our troops on Saturday March 29 at Reid Park from 10:00 am. until noon. Additionally there is an air show at Davis Monthan AFB all day. Can't ask for more than this!

We will have speakers to honor those serving today all over the world. We will have a short walk to show our support for our soldiers. We will honor those families left behind while their loved ones are away. If you have a picture of a loved one serving today, bring it and display it for the event. Let others know how proud you are of your son or daughter. Get your yellow ribbon to wear. We will hand those out We will have a box for you to bring a letter to be delivered to a serviceman. We will also have a box for donations of articles needed by the soldiers that they are having difficulty getting in the field.

The 'Liberal Left' protestors (financed and supported by enemies of the United States!) have every intention of not only continuing their Anti-Freedom, Anti-American protests, but also increasing their scale, scope and frequency now that the military conflict with Iraq has commenced. ---SNIP---

Please help in this cause by spreading the word, attending the rally, and encouraging friends and neighbors to attend (Bring at least 2 people other than yourself). Please bring signs supporting our Troops, American flags, and most importantly, bring your enthusiasm and your Patriotism!! Bring your children to the rally -- it is so important to show them that encouraging our military men and women, supporting an honorable President, and showing Patriotism in your Country are righteous acts – not to mention it makes you feel great!

OBTW, did you get a chance to see us on 12news last week, holding our flags in front of our sign at the main gate to Ft. Huachuca? The did a live broadcast on the Tuesday(?) evening news and then again the next morning.

Thunderbirds will be performing!! A salute to 100 years of Aviation (bet you didn't know that.) Half of Pima County will be there.(The correct half) Modern jets back to the Old Warbirds will be on display and in the air. C'mon down!

If I remember correctly, there is going to be a special fly-by performed by an F-15 Eagle, an F-16 Falcon, and a P-51 Mustang.

They were practicing last month in Tucson.

Are those the right three aircraft that you saw, JB?
