Part of Iraqi strategy as figured we'd have to bypass towns in the Baghdad push and are using irregulars to harass our supply line and draw away resources.

Seems if we had cut bait in Turkey earlier we'd have plenty of follow up troops to secure our flanks and lines and clean up these irregulars.

The first time Turkey had rejected US troops there we should have immediately diverted the ships to Kuwait. As it is the 4th will be unloading in about a week.
