[history]
San Francisco District Attorney Terence Hallinan dropped or reduced charges Tuesday against all 12 demonstrators arrested on felony counts during anti-war protests last week.
Charges were reduced to misdemeanors against seven people and were dropped against the other five, said district attorney's spokesman Mark MacNamara.

Hallinan is a red diaper doper baby who also sexually harassed several women....
In addition the only people Hallinan goes after are the police themselves! What an a$$hole!!! As a San Franciscan I am OUTRAGED!

For those who complain about how much this war is costing the American tax payer, don't forget to include how much the War Protests are costing.

Actions like this will only encourage further violence against citizens, businesses, and the police.
And when the police realize that the judges will not protect them, they will act with apporpriate force to protect themselves.
And I'll bet this DA will find no "ambiguities" when a case of "police brutality" lands on his desk.

I wonder how much the protests are costing the cities who say they need more money for homeland security.
The protests, including the filth left over, should cost Ca. tax payers a bundle.
Next time I hear a democrat complain about the cost of anything, I'll point to the protests. They're a total waste of funds.

Notice that the violent "peace" protests occur in jurisdictions like San Francisco. We wouldn't put up with them in Texas.

All charges were dropped against Asaf Achitoov, 34, of San Francisco, who had been accused of throwing bottles at police on horseback at Powell and Market streetsSounds like racial profiling to me, not!OUTRAGEOUS!

Why pay for any police at all if their arrests essentially don't count?

Don't worry, this ain't 1969. Things are gonna get real ugly for "protesters" real quick. Don't ask me how I know.
To: Freedom4US
actually, what I'd like to see is a file generated, using video human ID technologies, and made publicly accessable which correlates attendees at these so-called "peace" demonstrations, so that we could begin to know which of these twits are roving agitators. "Protest Gypsies". I want another file created which tracks the funding and organization of these so-called "spontaneous" gatherings. Who makes the signs. Who writes the 3x5 cards of talking points. Who publishes rally times and dates.
I think they have grown too comfortable in the knowledge that no one is keeping track of their identities and activities. I want the cloak of shadows drawn back from their world, so that we the people may see them for what they actually are: jobless, unproductive, financially supported by unamerican groups and hostile foreign powers, bums who rove the country stirring up trouble for nefarious ulterior motives.

This is why such violence erupts at protests. The offenders are protected by a society that tolerates most behavior, and by an army of fringe organizations. Bad behavior will not stop in this nation until we hold ALL PEOPLE accountable for their behavior.
To: I_Love_My_Husband
Two can play this game. The injured officers should file civil suits against these individuals and supporting organizations for damages.
Believe it or not this is a growing trend in law enforcement and has had some major successes.

Notice that the technique of attacking and undermining police officers who enforce the law has the effect of causing burnout and reducing the quantity and quality of those willing to serve. What else does it do? Weakens the rule of law. Eventually it will be to the point where the mob will rule and the anarchists (terrorists) really will have won.
