I'm totally convinced the media should be traveling along with our military.

I believe the embedded journalist idea was a stroke of genius... have you noticed how the reporters keep referring to "us" and "we?"

They are identifying themselves with our troops.

Our military personnel are not only the best-trained and equipped in the world, they are also good human beings. The reporters will see and report this, to the benefit of all.

I agree. This has the potential to create a nucleus of seriously pro-American reporters from a group of Journalism School grads who were generally brainwashed in college with PC anti-Americanism.
