There was no damage, there were no injuries, there were no arrests, Davis said. All there was was a disruption and blocking traffic on Prospect. So I can go block streets in Ft. Collins for an hour and a half, and I won't be arrested?

He also mentioned that some of the disruptors said they WANTED to be arrestedThey need to have fines to pay before being released. Let them have to stay locked up until their moms and dads have to come down and pay to get them out. Their parents should be made to pay for all damages they've done, all the police time they used up. If any are on welfare then that should be cut off.

Wow. The UNC walkout sure was impressive, for it's LACK OF PARTICIPATION.
I drove all around the spread out campus, starting at the library, to the university center, to the east campus and registrar's office.
NO WALKOUT.
Lots of students wandering around, but no signs, nor protests, just a typical day on campus.
And I was SO ready for having fun!

The peace-niks are really lucky they weren't blocking Prospect when I have to make deliveries there. If they interupt my ability to make a living I might not be to nice to them. I am a regular driver of Prospect and thank God for them I wasn't in Fort Collins on Tuesday.
The Fort Collins police should be ashamed. They failed to enforce the law and heads should roll. You do not negotiate with criminals. PERIOD!!!
If I was a citizen of Fort Collins I would be at the next city council meeting demanding a full accounting of the inaction and failure to do the duty of the police dept.
Yes, I'm pissed off. Anyone else?

The Greeley Tribune says that they only had a turn out of 30 people or so they did manage to get their picture in the paper.
