They should've gotten rid of the Wicked Witch of the Left, Judy Woodruff. You mean the woman that looks like she needs a daily laxative...

Rats. I liked referring to her and Larry King as the Chung-King network.
To: Conservababe
Well, if Dan Rather can fire her.... Frankly I always thought Dan was jealous of her.

To save her career, Connie could do a followup interview with the apparently now-vanished Gary Condit.

"As a dedicate Freeper, (gulp), and as much as I hate it, CNN has better coverage of the war in Irag than any other network (gulp)."
I think the FACTS, as they unfold, cannot be refuted by the big networks. CNN's resources don't appear in evidence, to me, as giving them an advantage.
I switch between channels. I will watch BBC, to get what their cameras and reporters can cover.
For intelligent viewers, it is easy to separate editorial positions, from "raw" reporting.

Making enemies where none is intended is stupid, Moldy Cracker. As for C.C., her father was an intelligence officer for Nationalist China. In 1944 he fled with his family to D.C. where he transferred into that other intelligence agency that's anything but red. You know, you're right. I don't know anything about Connie Chung or her family background. All I have to go by is her years of liberal leaning on the tube. If her father fought with Chiang Kai-shek and served with the CIA, I'm curious how she ended up so liberal.
My previous reply to your earlier post was childish. No excuses.

Pity-pooh...pity-pooh...pity-poop!
Connie, just between you and me, tell me what you really feel!

then Connie is not gone because she is old. ........
Right. It's only 50% of the reason. There are older women on TV news and such but they must have something going on. Barbara Walters has something going for herself..... not that I've even seen her on TV for years.

Exactly my thoughts, something she can never pay enough for. Down side is now CNN might find an audience. Naw, never happen.

Thanks for the response, O.C.
My only thought was anyone fired by CNN can't be all bad.

I find the celebration a bit funny..Connie 's show is not bad..Fox put the flamming liberal Gretta Van Face on and the people here watch that liberal sop..and then they celebrate the death of Connies show..
To be honest I prefer her to Gretta any day! (in the interest of full disclosure in Gretta's time slot I watch Joe Scarbrough on MSNBC)

This news really ruins my whole day...maybe she can join Maury in debasing (and profiting from) the human wrecks of the secular pagan society.
