From reading your tag-line, may I suggest that you see to it that the Honorable Senator Tancredo get a copy of the article in the post?
Could create considerable fun!

By the way.. a lot of my friends spend thier "weekends" actively monitering these guys via personal planes, and help out the BP calling the in the illegals.

True... but the next step is getting the Bush administration to deploy the military on the borders. Fat chance. This can only end badly.

that the Mexican Army - in Division strength - is protecting us. Don't you feel safe? Only when I'm carrying.

Tramping around the Whetstone, Chiracahua and Swisshelm Mountains can be hazardous to one's health.

I just wish that the Gov would allow the people to do more.
I just cant imagine how that place would suck swimming with troops.

My house is 300 yards from Fort Huachuca's southeast boundary fence. A lot of illegals use my area every night and cross through the Fort to avoid traffic and streetlights. It seems a number of coyotes use a pick up point about a half mile away -- in a big arroyo between two subdivisions. I check it every couple of days and smooth out the dirt to catch fresh tracks.
Camping and hiking here are now a real adventure. And yes I always carry a gun.

I left in 97, and although i always was careful out there I felt very safe back then. Its sad to hear that the area is suffering so badly. I had always wanted to return permanently.

Yup, me too. Sometimes the government works against the folks, though such as in the in the recent
Ranch Rescue vs. Texas Taliban incident. Word has it that the local sheriff, one Erasmo Alarcon, is in cahoots with the despicable Mexican consul.
To: Tancredo Fan
I'm sorry for your troubles out there. Az is the best place i ever hung my hat.

Isn't Ft Huachuca still a training base? It was the last time I was out there 1972...illegals would not have had any chance to get in and then through that base un-noticed.

I had heard that the local rangers at montezuma pass where now attempting to arrest citizens that were armed in the hachucas due to fears over the growing local "vigilante" border groups!! I think that is an outrage!!JackalopeBreeder put a post on FR where they even had pics and a story about that very thing that showed that the Rangerette was a bigot. He'd even posted a link to another story where they had video of the Mexican Army escorting the Ilegals up to and across the border.
Or was it Spiff? Help me out here guys my memory is fading a little.

I don't know who posted the one you referred to, but I did see this last month:
Mexican Army Herds Invaders North (there's a video link there). The video is best if you are using a broadband connection.
