Walking In God’s Armor
(A Prayer For Our USA Service)

Lord, we bring before You -
though we may not know each name -
The men and women called to serve.

Lord, they seek no reward or fame.
Lord, grant them wisdom to know Your Word,
and to hide in Your Secret Place.

Keep them in the shelter of Your arms;
help them seek Your Holy face.

Though the world may come against them,
let the arrow that flies by day
Be trampled under feet shod with peace
as they walk in Your steadfast way.

When they see destruction at noonday,
Lord, give them courage to stand
Holding the shield of faith You give
to protect our beautiful land.

Terror may come in the nighttime -
thousands may fall at their side,
But, Lord we pray You’ll protect them -
that in Your grace they’ll abide.

Help them wield the sword of Your Spirit
to fight for the freedom You give
Whether on the shores of our enemies,
or in the land where we live.

We know You have heard our prayers, Dear Lord,
as our soldiers take the helmet of salvation.

Guide them in Your righteousness
as they stand proudly defending our nation.

PRAYERS SAID AT EXACTLY 9AM PT.

"I Got Your Back" (author unknown)

I am a small and precious child, my parent has been sent to fight... The only place I'll see their face, is in my dreams at night. They'll be gone too many days for my young mind to keep track.

I may be sad, but I am proud.
My parent's got your back.

We are caring Moms and Dads. Our child has gone to war...
Our mind is filled with worries that we've never known before. Every day we try to keep our thoughts from turning black.

We may be scared, but we are proud.
Our child has got your back.

I am a strong and loving spouse, with a spouse who had to go. There are times I'm terrified in a way most never know. I bite my lip, and force a smile as I watch my loved one pack...

My heart may break, but I am proud.
My loved one's got your back...

I am a Military Person... Serving Proudly, standing tall.
I fight for freedom, yours and mine by answering this call. I do my job while knowing the thanks it sometimes lacks.

Say a prayer that I'll come home.
It's me who's got your back.

Thanks to all who participated at Noon and who helped spread the word.

Let's continue to speak to God from our hearts and remember those who are fighting, our civilian leaders, the P.O.W.s, and the families of all those folks, as well as the families of the fallen.

God, please be with them all.

"The angel of the Lord encamps around them that reverence the Lord, to deliver them..."
God deliver them... as it is written.

And advance our forces to SPEEDY victories that will set the captives free... Open the eyes of Iraqis to see their need for change and the inevitability of their fates, should they choose to remain blinded by their worship of Sadaam.

Please now, tie up the enemies of freedom... and set these captives free... in the name of Jesus...

Loving Father, in humble trust we draw your attention to every act of violence and terrorism being planned against our country and our military.

Thank You for sending the Holy Spirit to expose and defeat weapons of destruction.

We take authority in Jesus' Name over every planned act of violence and command it to wither and die.

Father, forgive those who would seek to harm the POW's and bring them into a healed relationship with our Lord Jesus.

Thank You for protecting our country and those of our Coalition. Thank You for alerting many intercessors to pray a shield of protection around our countries and around those individuals assigned to protect the people of our countries.

Holy Spirit, come. Release the peace of Christ among the soldiers, bring harmony to the Coalition. We know that there is nothing lost in the Spirit. We ask that You would lead and direct those who search and rescue our soldiers and POW's. We thank You for keeping Michael Speicher and we pray that he is still alive and returned to us. Though men may forget You oh Lord never leave us nor forsake us.

Thank You, Lord.
Amen.

Lord, Your mercy and love are great, beyond measure by simple human means. Pour Your peace, love and mercy out to the soldiers held prisoner, their families, and the families of those who have been lost to this world.
Hold those who have died in this war close and let them know Your great love and mercy.

Praying for Apache helicopter crew POW's, David Williams and Ronald Young, and their families and the 1st Battalion of the 227th Aviation Regiment out of Fort Hood, Texas.

Praying for the 507th Maintenance POW's, Patrick Miller, Joseph Hudson, Edgar Hernandez, James Riley, and Shoshana Johnson, and their families, and the 111th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, stationed at Fort Bliss.

But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.
John 15: 26-27

These things I have spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.
They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.
But these things I have told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto at the beginning, because I was with you.
But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Wither goest thou?
But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; that it is expedient for you that I go away: For if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
John 16: 1-7
