Hmmmm - did you upload them to your server in their full size? If you didn't and really want me to reduce Reagan, I will do it for you. I would think that what he meant was to ask you not to POST the pics using his url, not that you couldn't post the link. (maybe ask him?)

Well, we'll put another pot of coffee on or break out the wine or the beer whenever he gets here. :)

Love the photograph of your Lucy, Colleen.
Years ago, I had a smaller version of her, sneaked in as a surprise puppy for my two young boys of then 6 and 7 - "Can't we keep him for THEM, dear?" the Question of The Day..:))
He was instantly Mama's Boy from Day One, though, my husband in SAC in South Dakota, on rotating shifts, and the boys in school.
'Shadow' was glued to me nearly all the time, taking seriously his job to protect me, sleeping with his chin on the back of my calf at night. Would've taken on a tiger to save me.
Sadly, one night in Fairbanks he went out for a last time outside - usually hurried in the sub-zero cold, but never returned from our location at the edge of woods filled with wild life, including wolves, bears, moose, caribou and wild dogs....RIP, Old Faithful...see you at The Rainbow Bridge with which too many of us are familiar.

Yep. Awful. Can you imagine living under some Tyrant like him for 30 YEARS ? . . .
It will be daylight in Basra in a few hours and the Allied Forces will be going in there (post #31) . . .
A British spokesman said a top Baath Party official has been captured outside the southern Iraqi city.
Coalition forces want the people of Basra to attack soldiers loyal to Saddam, and British troops backed by tanks and armored vehicles are massing on the outskirts of Basra and planning to enter the city.

Be sure to keep this thread under your Bookmarks/Favorites on your computer, too, to pull up now and then.
Some persons add it to their Profile Page as well, for reference, and for others to see.

Now you know many of us can't read that without tears welling in our eyes, thinking of the Rainbow Bridge our own precious animals crossed. One we had NEVER licked us - NEVER! He smiled and wagged his tail when we talked to him, but never was a 'licker'. Just before he stepped onto that bridge, he was very weak and very ill, and he licked my hand; he was telling me goodbye.

Oh geesh...I finally get back here and you're doing "Rainbow Bridge". Tears. Lots of freeper pups up there playing around waiting for us... That is probably one of the most touching tributes I have every read....
and....I hope you don't think this too sappy...the men and women we have recently lost also had beloved pets beyond rainbow bridge...I wonder if they were also greeted, are reunited and together looking down upon their loved ones...
God bless our fallen and our military men and women

Beautiful and comforting thought, dutchess, bringing in that element to such a sad situation.
A quiet thank you from the gallery - - -

RIP Shadow.
Amazing how animals become part of the family. Lucy should have been named Shadow. I was her 4th owner when I got her and she was only 4 months old. Someone at work was looking for a home for her and I saw her once and had to take her home :-) Lucy ended up being a great pet, she is very loyal!
As a kid, I always wanted pets, and my folks always gave in :-)

Colleen. Hope you're enjoying you're day. You are certainly deserving!...So tell me..did you do the "deadhead" concerts???? Were you bummed when Jerry Garcia finally ....you know....(died).. I did always enjoy them "from a distance" but had a few friends who traveled the country to attend the concerts! By then it would have been "politically incorrect" for us to do so...

I still have a hard time even talking about Sugar, Maggie. This little fella was just before her, also a Chow.
