Lets see. Basra has fallen. No Basra has not fallen but we have the bridge. We have the airport. The 51st Iraqi's have surrendered and their general is in custody. No the 51st has not surrendered and the general is fighting. The Shite Iraqi's will welcome us with open arms. The Shite's are not welcoming us with open arms. The British are retreating. The Iraqi's are counter attacking.
Uh Oh!

Someone put a whole bunch of disgusting keywords up, the Mod was notified, and they were removed.

Someone added offensive words to the thread, but the mods took care of it quickly

Statement made by Wesley Clark on CNN tonight referring to Christiane Amanpour's piece about Basra becoming an urban guerilla-type fight now.

Earlier this afternoon Robert Baer(former CIA) reported from Syria that Iran was a factor in much of the resistance in SE Iraq. Both are heavy Shii areas.

I'm no fan of the war "whore" Amanpour, but she was quite chuffed to reporting this setback. She's on CNN now!!

"Never trust an arab/persian or any middle east types whilst on their soil. They are the biggest liars in the world."
Still more prudent is to not trust them on ANY soil, for the same reason.
That deception is ingrained in the cultures (using the term generously) and the muslim religion (again, using the term generously), is an indisputable FACT.
The arabic word for their deception is "Al Taqiyah." Mention this to one of them, and they will tell you it isn't so; which will be another lie.

Why did we let them "go home"? Because it was easier than having to feed and house them.

Did McCaffrey just say that the 51st Division commander who had surrendered had gone back into Basra to command the defense?...
Yes. Actually I first read this several hours ago.

Time to start organizing Basra's Shia population hungry for revenge against Saddam's thugs.

Wesley Clark, Christiane Amanpour
How do you watch those too? You need a medical alert to watch CNN. May cause hazard to your health. Need mylanta if staying longer than a minute.

Footage on Al-Jizzira showing people in the streets of Basra with AK47s, freaking out.....Anderson Cooper is at least better than Aaron Brown.
Are any other networks covering this right now?
