This morning I watched a television station doing a story on one of their local boys, a specialist in the Army who was part of a team that would get called in anytime chem/bio weapons were found...
He was asked if he'd gone into Iraq yet (interview was in Quatar). He said yes, several times.
Asked if they found any WMD, he did the usual "cannot confirm or deny..." routine. When pressed he smiled and said "in due time."

They're keeping their info close to the vest, I've noticed. They let a little seep out, and then retract.
Maybe putting together a dossier for a comprehensive presentation or something?

Bret Baier: Intense battle going over between U.S. Army 3rd infantry division ~E. of Najaf....90 mi. so. of Baghdad - and Iraqi irregulars, or possibly RG. Up to 300 Iraqi dead. A few US vehicles lost.

They might figure that if they announce finding WMDs, then Saddam will take that as a green light to use the ones he has left -- no point in saving them, then. As it is, the sandstorm has precluded their using them no matter what.
