Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
Special thanks to null and void for keeping these running over the weekend and Monday, to all of you for keeping these threads alive, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

You aren't the only one saddened by that.

LOL Well yesterday was the first time I used it. I couldn't understand why they kept having call to prayer. I finally had to ask a friend who had traveled in that part of the region......He said he thinks they do it five times a day. I'd be batty if I had to listen to that five times a day every day.

Now I'm coinvinced something is up. Beebs just reported on the Turkey situation, and he said there is obviously a lot of military activity going on, but no one can see it because
a buffer zone has been created near the border, and it has been sealed. His take is that Turkey is planning on moving in, but WHAT IF IT'S US?
Maybe I watch too many movies, but I'd watch the north for the knockout punch.

While I was at Great Lakes Training, I took a girl out a couple times that lived in Chicago somewhere. When my parents asked me what area and I told them, they informed me she we a pollock. I asked the girl and she confirmed it. LOL Big cities and their ethnic neighborhoods. Areal hoot, not really evident much on the west coast. Or, never really used to be.

illegal to work more than 35 hours/week You might want to check that. My firm does a lot of work with two French corporations. They have a legally defined 35 hr work week like the US has set it at 40 hrs. Overtime is legal, it just happens more quickly and is tightly regulated.

the 114 grammer just doesn't ring of hot cheesy meaty goodness. In fact, it sounds as dry and unappetizing as a Freshman-level English class....

Yeah, I am hearing the eeriest sounds on the MSNBC cam. Definitely could be a jet going over. If so, lots of them. And the wind, the wind doesn't stop howling.
To: ican'tbelieveit
