Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
Special thanks to null and void for keeping these running over the weekend and Monday, to all of you for keeping these threads alive, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

"MSNBC reports that 3000 chemical suits and masks among the things found in that hospital.... FANTASTIC! IT'S WONDERFUL NEWS!
The peace-lovin' Iraq' armies wanted to be sure that their patients had plenty of chemical and biological protection suits at that hospital in case we poured poison gas down the vent shafts while they were immobilized in bed .......

hmmm.
If I were a liberal waiting for proof of WPM and Chem Warfare plans...these 3,000 suits would be a clue.
Oh wait, that would mean admitting Pres Bush is right. My bad..let me try again.
If I were a Liberal, the 3,000 chemical suits would mean that the US planted them in that hospital in order to prove their cases.

"In addition, I always felt there was more to our arrangment with Turkey than met the eye."
Unfortunately, in the budget just presented to congress for the war the "aid" that is going to Turkey is around $1 Billion, probably enough for overflights but nowhere near the $16 plus Billion they were talking if ground forces were allowed. Looks like wishful thinking (and yes, I'm wishing too!).
To: SoldiersGirl
It was fear of Americans use of gas.
