Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
Special thanks to null and void for keeping these running over the weekend and Monday, to all of you for keeping these threads alive, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

in this weather, with the visibility so limited, I pray that we Americans do not mistake the Faydeen (sp) in our uniforms for the good guys.
I agree. You know what? Those thugs are just a bunch of bad actors. They belong in Hollywood!

Just checking in and I'm shocked and awe stricken that the war is still happening ?
How come the war isn't over yet ? Its been like 4 days. How long does it take to do a hostile takeover a country anyways ? Who is in charge of this transaction ? Are we there yet ?

Hopefully this was anticipated and our guys will whip out bright neon armbands, or something to distinguish them.
To: Solson; Dog
It refers to differing reports of the number of chem suits found in the hospital. Dog heard 300, Shep on FNC said 3000 - now it appears Dog was right. (Dog graciously refrained from pointing out that I erroneously corrected him! Thank you, Dog)
To: Fledermaus
An actual tank I think...not a "tank" of chemicals...a fighting tank
They must have one wall that was torn down to drive the darn thing in the hospital to begin with... Hmmm...
