Will be interesting to see whether the Arab news agencies, TV, Radio, etc., report this uprising. At least the US force has control of Iraqi Radio waves, so they can broadcast it via radio.

NBC reporting that finding full chemical weapons protective suits is disturbing, as these are usually issued to people who are going to use the weapons. That may mean the Iraqis were planning to use WMD against civilian populations in Basra or that town that starts with an N (Nasariya?). That would create very disturbing images for the world to digest, and would bog down coalition troops in trying to assist them.

Always.. but FoxNews showed a film clip of a crowd of Iraqis holding US flag and smiling, we have Red Cross and our own people in the city repairing broken water lines, spreading news...looks promising.

As I said it depends on how you define war. I believe the main fighting will be over in the next week. There will be pockets that need to be cleaned up for about a month. Then you will have snipers/sabotage and such for quite a while, this is the stage at which we really need the Iraqi population behind us.
