I see the Iraqis read FR, they took my advice from a few days ago and got a box for their mental midgers to stand on so we could see their lying lips move when they gave their briefings...

I hope Fox tells this gravity challenged Information Minister that like Daschle he needs to stand on a box or lower the podium and mics as we can barely see his lips move....then again maybe he is just cowering in fear.....

The Iraqis in Baghdad have no idea how close we are. Of course you will not hear any pro-American statements, but the lack of anti-American sentiment is very telling as to the population's thoughts on the matter. However, don't expect to see dancing in the streets until the regime is totally busted.

Right now, Iraqi spokesmen are having a field day. However, in a short period of time, the facts will make themselves felt.

Exactly. When U.S. infantry break down the door of the room where the presser's being held, that will put paid to the lies of the Iraqi government. I wonder if Al-Jazzera will embargo that tape..?

We've destroyed six of those jamming devices and CENTCOM says they play no part in altering our plans. Severe sandstorm. Hart Bldg was evacuated for a drill.

I was listening to a military analyst on KFI 640 this morning. He said that the military is aware of all types of GPS jammers and they run test on all the cruise, tomahawks, etc to ensure that they are not affected by these. The jammers were not a big deal, in his opinion...it is the media hyping them up to be a big deal. The sandstorms slow things down, but do not cause everything to come to a grinding halt, ops wise. Our soldiers have equipment (thermal-something or other) that aid them to continue on. Only affects close air support.

The tax cut can still happen, since everybody knows (but not everybody admits) that revenues normally *increase* when rates are cut.
