Your point may be well taken, but when I worked in the media, I can tell you - racism was not the issue. The issue was to attract men - you did that with blondes. That's not to offend anyone or any race - it's just the facts. If it was done for racist purposes, I never, ever heard any such term used or even mentioned to suggest it.

I was there and this article is so slanted it is appalling. I certainly didn't expect kudos from this paper, but the reporter played every single possible trick to misrepresent the rally and the fantastic folks that were there.

The section describing the violence between the man and the woman? I read in another article that the only person arrested in the area of the rally was not a part of it, but a bystander, seeing this article makes me think it has to be this man they were referring to. I'll see if I can find the article again and post the link.

We've seen constant sick, violent, racist, destructive, disruptive, vicious, and just plain weird anti-war activities the last few weeks and these liberal rags and networks totally downplay it all and just parrot the "peace" talking points. Then they take almost docile, family-oriented and totally clean rally for America and do everything they can to make it sound subversive.... the reporter is beneath contempt, no journalistic ethics whatsoever.

Sorry for the rant, but this was really vicious "reporting".
