Peggy, if you are lurking, know this: You are my hero.I second that! I love to hear her speak, her voice is just so soothing.
To: ravingnutter
Is there anything sweeter than watching her square-off against some disturbed liberal on Hannity? The more venemous the liberal gets, the more Peggy turns up the sweetness and charm. You can just litterally see the lefty getting more and more enraged at Peggy's attitude.

bumping another "Peggy's best" to add to the pile!

The world owes a great deal to America, and America owes a great deal to [our armed forces], and not only because of their courage but because of their faith in us. And they have faith in us, and in this place we all live in, this great country, or else they would never risk their lives for us. Which leaves us humbled, and wishing we could say to them what the world should be saying to the country they represent:
Thank you.

Victory will remind the world that faith and effort trump ennui and despair. I just love Peggy Noonan.
For me and others, here is the defintion of ennui:
ennui: The feeling of being bored by something tedious.

Peggy is always so positive. I wonder if she truly feels this way or says it because she just knows it's what we need to hear.My feeling is that Peggy is one of the most genuine people on this earth. If she puts something on paper, take it to the bank. She believes it with all her heart.

ennui: The feeling of being bored by something tedious. ...(see: Carter, Jimmy - Presidency of)
Or was that "Malaise?"
To: WaveThatFlag
Or was that "Malaise?" Clearly a combination.

As always, thanks for the ping.
Peggy is spot-on here. There is a very bright light at the end of this tunnel.
