Please add your prayers for Karl.
Sam,
I just wanted to let you know that my son Karl entered Iraq on Tuesday. He is an Infantryman in the National Guard in support of the 101st Airborne Division and I guess they are all heading to Baghdad.
Please keep him in your prayers.

Thank you for letting us know about your son Karl, Sam. Prayers up.
Father in Heaven,
We ask that you will grant your love and attention to Karl, an Infantryman in the National Guard supporting the 101st Airborne Division. We are grateful for his service, and we ask that you will take our prayers and best wishes for him and transform them into a tangible light substance over him for his protection. Let him be clad in the whole armor of God. We ask that you will assign angels to be with him constantly to guard and direct him on all of his missions. According to thy will, please let this be done for all of the young men and women serving in the US and coalition forces.
Bless the family and loved ones of this brave young man. Grant them peace, comfort, and reassurance of your constant care during this time of danger and separation. Let the lawful pride this family and our nation have in this fine young man and all who serve with him under arms be amplified to the point that all negativity and naysayers are vanquished in their efforts to degrade the morale of our people. We ask that you will protect the morale of our troops and let them know of a certainty that the vast majority of Americans here at home are behind them, wishing them well, and holding the vigil for them and their mission. Father, bring Karl and all our young people home safely and victoriously.
Amen
