morning! I know how you feel. I got on just in time to "scan" quickly and try to get caught up. I finally got some sleep. Went to bed around 12:30, didn't wake up till around 10:00. I was exhausted! Had the tv on so I saw stuff everytime I had to go the br (do that alot after having six kids, LOL)so I kept caught up pretty good even while in bed.

Poor Rick Leventhal. He's reporting on the fight last night. When he reported then he didn't have any idea what was going on, tonight he says he learned later that there were 300 Iraqi soldiers. Many, many casualties, he said they were no match for them.

From what I'm getting, the heavy machinery moved on, but militia type folks dressed in civilian clothes are doing attacks with gunfire once the heavy guys leave.

Rick Leventhal: Saddam has armed the civilians, with the threat of harm to their families, which may explain why the resistance has been greater than expected.

Was in a firefight last night where his unit was surrounded by 300 Iraqi's in uneven terrain, some getting with 30 feet of the unit.

He only mentioned Iraqis, dozens and dozens of them he said. They kept advancing despite their fire power. Got as close as 30 feet. He will have video later.
