Am I one of the few to believe that the Islamic religion is NOT a peaceful religion? How can a religion claiming to be in direct contact with God believe that all people who are not of the Islamic faith should die and that it is the duty of the Islamic faithful to kill all non-believers? I love my President but I disagree with him on this issue. I can only relate these Muslims to the Nazis of WWII fame. Many of Nazis believed that they too were the chosen ones. I believe that to rid this country of Muslim terrorist we must link these people to the murder and torture of innocent people just like we did with the Nazis. Is the Muslims extremist that different from the Nazis? Am I wrong?

I am a retired disabled veteran and I am so mad at these people that I may have become blind with my own hatred. Please, someone, anyone try to convince me otherwise.

No, they seem to have similar operating procedures. Sorry I can't soothe your feelings much.

BTW I feel a lot more 'righteous indignation' than I have ever felt in my life today ... and a very REAL deep sense of vulnerability.

If it walks like a Nazi and acts like a Nazi, then it's a Nazi.

If the Muslim world had risen up against 9/11, I'd disagree with you.
But they didn't, so I figure you might be right. Hope not, but I have a bad feeling.

Hi Wattsup. You are, of course, correct. Islam appears to be a political movement using religious imagery. Don't be surprised, however, if some here weave elaborate justifications for their behavior. We have a few who believe that if they can find one good Muslim, then the entire movement is vindicated.
Thank you for your service.

Nazis? The Nazis tried to take over Europe from Germany. No, I say they are more like the communists. They are all over the world, embedded in our nation, and politically incorrect to stamp out. Not Nazis at all.

The only group of Muslims that does not seem violent are the Sufis. Unfortunately, the Sufis are a minority and most Muslims think that Sufis are full of crap.
Personally for me, I do not care to have any Muslim friends or patronize any Muslim establishment or any establishment that has Muslim customers for my own safety. Not all of them want to kill people, but since it is impossible to distinguish the regular people from the fanatics, I separate myself from them all. Better to be safe than sorry.
As for the Muslims that actually seem normal, I saw a poster on FR pose an interesting question. Are they good people in spite of Islam or because of it?

Your rant is self indulgent, and I suspect you know it. If a billion Muslims on this planet are true believing rabid killers, we might as well close up shop, and return the planet to the apes, because our species won't last for very long. That is my opinion.

Respectfully, the deafening silence from the muslim world in the days, weeks, and months makes them comlicit in the actions of the muslim head-cases. Islamic leaders should have risen up and loudly denounced those within their faith who have sworn to kill all of us "infidels." A true religion of peace would have done that. Their silence was a stamp of approval. If they feared retaliation from an extremist sect, then their claim to their faith is a joke.

Islamic radicals believe in God, believe that they possess a detailed set of instructions for living that come from God via a prophet as interpreted by a clergy, and believe that they have a mandate to impose those beliefs on all people.
NAZIs believed in a sort of perverted late-19th century secular ideas related to evolution, racial superiority, economics, and sociology; believed in the right of a higher class of people, under the leadership of a furher, to direct the advancement of the folk; and believed in the right to subjugate and rule the lesser folks.
The greate secular ideologies of the social sciences and political economics have pretty well burned themselves out and become discredited. They have given way to more pragmatic approaches, based on further experience and analysis.
Among the ignorant, religious radicalism is still a great danger.

You are correct, sir.

Try not to get discouraged, for we are to look around us and to see the signs of our times, and there will be wars and rumors of wars, but the end is not yet. So I want to say to you, that God has seen all of this ahead of us, and he has everything in control. We are to watch the signs on the highway, and they tell us that Jesus is coming soon, but not until the Gospel of his Kingdom has been preached to every nation. Every day, I speak to Muslims who have never been inside a church, never heard a sermon, never heard a Christian hymn, but they say that Jesus has visited them in dreams and in visions, and that he has asked them to follow him. Try to have faith, that God knows all about this, and he is here when we need him most.
He is our very present help in time of trouble.

* I would say inspite of Islam. When christians act like christians and stick to what Christ said, they act like Christ who was peaceful and loving. The restraining force against most of Islam is christianity. It's the christians that operate hospitals and schools in run down muslim countries.
