Before the show started, I heard Joan Rivers talking with Sean Astin. When he was asked to send a message to our troops overseas he said, (I paraphrase, but it's REAL close):

"Before the fighting started, I prayed on bended knee for peace. Now, though, I am praying on bended knee for peace AND victory. Come home safe and bless you all."

I met Danson when my daughter had a dancing job on a project called FOR THE CHILDREN, a benefit for pediatric AIDS. We met a lot of "stars" during the 2 weeks of rehersals and then live performance at the Universal Amphitheatre. During the rehersals, Mrs. DFU took our daughter part of the time and I took her part of the time. Of all the people there, guess the only one who was not wearing an AIDS ribbon?
