Pray for these brave Americans

God be with them and with their families. Can't imagine the horror of a family member seeing their faces on television like that, knowing others in their group have already been executed. I feel sick.

Prayers going up big time. And we should announce that a great big bounty will be put on the heads of any Iraqis that harm them.

I disagree totally.
It is not improper to personalize our heroes.
Just being there makes them special.
My thanks and gratitude to them for protecting my family, my community and me.

One out of five = 20%, which is over their population of 13%

This thread needs to be yanked ASAP.What the hell is with the great cry for censorship today? Could it be that we only want the American victories to be shown? War is hell for all involved, and these pictures prove it.
These soldiers volunteered to put themselves in harm's way in our name, and I salute them and pray for them. But I do not support the censorship of their fate.

If these are pictures of US soldiers, the military records should have been cross-matched against these photos by now. And with photo comparison techniques, it should be sufficiently reliable for a positve ID.

I would like you to consider not yanking this thread. These are my people. I love them and I love their faces. I want to hold them in my heart and my mind until they come home.

God Bless the POW's. We are coming, and will hold your captors responsible for any criminal acts they have comitted. Be patient, that rumbling sound you hear are your brothers and sisters in combat coming for you!

Rumsfeld Iraqi footage violates Geneva Convention "That's a violation of the Geneva Convention, those pictures you showed," Rumsfeld said of the international law on treatment of prisoners of war. He said the convention prohibits the photographing or interrogation by media of those captured in battle.
