I aplogize to everyone on this thread and to the families of the support troops presently in harm's way.
My anger should be directed at the PC military leadership which is sending support troops into an area full of hostile stay-behind enemy formations when those troops are given less than 100 rounds of practice ammunition for their rifles per year, and who are barely familiar with them, and who are in no way prepared for combat.

How about apologizing to those support units while your at it. Your hatred of them and your disgust with them was quite clear. I've seen less hatred for our troops in Iraq come out of the mouths of the so-called peace protesters.

Your #50.
Thank you very much. I understand your anger.

I agree with you regarding the role of women in combat, and the lack of wisdom in having lightly armed support troops in (still) hostile areas. My gripe is with your posts 15 and 22 during this time of war. We can discuss the role of a volunteer military and its possible problems later.

I personally accept your apology. Let us all remember who the enemy is and do not let the pacifist propaganda machine fog our vision and goal. I am outraged over the apparent execution of the POW's. Let us all pray for them and their loved ones. This is certainly not the time nor the place to criticize our armed services, their training or personnel. Up until this point, the coaliton forces have performed exemplary. Semper Fi

I do not understand why it was directed against the troops, I realize you have apologized for this it is not my place to accept (or reject) your apology.

I respect your sincere apologies. You did not appear to hide behind defensiveness. You did not blame others. You listened to feedback, and took action. That's to be admired in my book. Would that there were more in the world with the courage to do the same.

I'm so heartbroken about these lately news, but this is quite distressing to me.

I had no idea. I thank you for the information.
My prayers are with the troops. May God help them and protect them.
