Right now I am more interested in ensuring that the Iraqi propaganda machine, via their #2 agent, CNN do not spam the world with the video of their execution and illegal detention of some of our soldiers.
The history of Islam is just that, HISTORY.
Save this diatrabe of yours until after all our men and women in uniform are home, safe and sound and in as dignified a manner as possible.

Imposing paragraphs would destroy the essence of the original post. Sorry for not making myself clear.
I was commenting on the original poster, not you.

Now please go have someone read you the First Amendment. Reading it is easy; some first graders can do it.
Understanding what it means... and what it doesn't requires a clear, healthy and informed mind.

In some of the Arab's minds, only a white racist could be against someone like Saddam Hussein. Who cares if he feeds human beings into wood chippers feet first, only a white racist could disagree with this.
One of the statements from the Iraqi government yesterday, refered to the "anglo leadership" in the U.S. Where do they pick this stuff up from, unless from the Democrat leadership? LOL In truth the A.N.S.W.E.R. rallies play up the race card as much as possible. ..Stop War End Racism. The message is clear. The white pigs in the U.S. establishment are the problem. Hmmm, a common theme since the 1960s.
I would like to think our schools would teach the kids to be able to see the difference between a Saddam Hussein and George Bush, but when you realize the percentage of Democrat support within their unions, you realize this isn't happening. As these kids trot off to college, they are primed to participate in the anit-US specticles that seem to be the most important product of the univeristy experience.

If you're allowed to define Islam as "not a religion" then what's to prevent somebody else from defining Christianity and Judaism as "not a religion?" Easy question. A religion is defined by what it does, not by what it says.
Consider the reverse of your question: suppose hitler had defined his goals and his methods as a "religion"?
Would you allow him unfettered access to our democratic rights and institutions?
That is a serious question, and to even the dimmest bulb, food for thought.

Consider the reverse of your question: suppose hitler had defined his goals and his methods as a "religion"? Would you allow him unfettered access to our democratic rights and institutions?Sure, as long as he didn't break the law.
BTW, he competed more or less legally in the democratic Weimar system until gaining power.
The way to beat these guys is not to prevent them from competing, it's to beat them in the competition using legal methods.
As we have successfully have done as a nation with Nazis (neo and otherwise), KKK-types, Commies and other offensive groups.
