Jim M. of NBC just reported that Al Jazeera has shown the bodies of executed American soldiers.

This also shows that Saddam is a grease stain on a ruined wall. As awful as he is none of the senior leadership would execute US PWs and then show the bodies on television to rub our faces in it.

They are evil, crazy and stupid, but not suicidal.

We need to get in Baghdad now with Airborne and clean this lot out before they do worse, because if they did this, they'll do anything.

Is it possible that the Iraqis dressed up some prisoners from their own jails, in American uniforms, and killed them (or had they lay down in such a way as to look like they had been killed)? I realize this is wishful thinking, but I hold out hope anyway.

Update: Americans were captured at Nassariyah and were executed.

A 3d Armored Infantry unit doing reconstruction work got lost, got captured alive, and were executed. 7-8 lying on a floor shot to death execution style on the floor of a building.

Interviews were taken of American troops, including a woman.
