Sorry, I have zero trust in the Russian government.
To: kolja2003
Wrong - o, kolja.
We know when we've done well or badly. We don't make excuses.
Putin is now Vlad the Impaler.

McCain was on FNC and stated about France being complicit with Iraq too ... Now we know why they both against us at the UN... diplomacy had absolutely nothing to do with it... Their own financial interests did...
I'm glad Bush made the call... Now those countries who have been complicit with Iraq will be found out and I really do believe some heads of other countries are gonna roll...

Excellent point. He is (was) a ruthless dictator but you don't stay in power for as long as he has and be stupid enough to execute POW's and then broadcast it to the world. Agreed and I believe sinkspur is on the mark. Showing POW's in that state and there being a video that shows US military being executed is, to me, an indication that Saddam is not in control of significant parts of the military, if at all. He is, unfortunately, a master of playing the press. Don't forget how he treated the families caught in 1991 as "his guests".

I tell ya what... Bush won't make the same mistake twice...
I really think Bush was going to give Russia that 7 bil for the oil contracts in Iraq... Putin can forget it now...

Can you just STFU already? I mean, I know dead americans don't affect you in any way, but it does for the rest of us, so kindly just STFU :). Thanks, Chad. That's what I WANTED to say, but didn't. I get tired of trying to be diplomatic.

Well, there's a time for diplomacy, and a time to stop being diplomatic... I just reach that point sooner than most...
BTW, if anyone wants to debate the russian treachery, here's a thread on the subject....

Some traitor scum on DU is saying Iraq has the RIGHT to murder our military men and women! Exactly why I have their site blackholed (on our Internet router) where I work. So, for at least 2,000+ PC's on the globe, their site is unreachable.

I'm glad Bush made the call... Now those countries who have been complicit with Iraq will be found out and I really do believe some heads of other countries are gonna roll... Me, too. In the meantime, we must really pray we prevail against this evil. And that The President maintains his resolve and stays strong. I recently heard he has a long memory when it comes to his enemies. Al Jazeera, in the meantime, is trying to whip the Arab nations into a frenzy.

Ya know what? Is it possible that these GPS Jammers, which 'are not weapons', could have been used to cause our troops to get lost, resulting in their capture and execution?
There. I just blamed Russia, happy now?

"Anyone may buy that."
But its in violation of UN sanctions for Russia to sell it to Iraq...
And the left wonders why diplomacy failed?
To: Chad Fairbanks; valleygal
I think someone might not know what "STFU" means. Language barrier and all that.

"I recently heard he has a long memory when it comes to his enemies."
Well he told Chirac that we will never forget and never forgive... I guess he can add Putin to the list now too...

Well, maybe they know what "pa SHOHL ti!" means...
