The whole clip that BBC showed was of the soldier trying to make sense of an interrogator's question. Something like "Did the Iraqi people greet you with Guns or Flowers?". The soldier at first, said something like, "these Iraqis?" pointing to the ground. After that he said he didn't understand the question, repeatedly.

Stop the soft talk about Geneva convention and bomb them to smithereens.A good thing you are on a keyboard and not in charge of anything military.
Step back and take a breath. This action proves, to me, that Hussein is dead or incapacitated. He would never do something so visceral that would turn world opinion completely against Iraq.
This could be a turning point in this whole mess. The world turns against Iraq,

I will not watch it.I managed to avoid the Pearle video. They may enjoy making a record of their barbarism. I choose not to give them an audience. Live prisoners I'm very concerned about.God help them. Don't judge them if they say anti American things. Lord, the description of those tapes is terrible.

Lebanon TV (LBC) showed captured American prisoners of war on a live television remote just now from Iraq. This was a very disturbing live broadcast which LBC broke into regular program to air. I just saw it with my own eyes.
They showed several captured American army soldiers. They showed two white males (one wounded) and one black female. They gave name and rank, and gave additional information. They were under extreme duress. The questions were barked at them in poor English by a combination of LBC reporters and Iraqi military holding them.
One soldier could not get the thick accented English from one of the questioners. They were asked where they were from. They all said Texas. This did not appear to me to be staged actors, but for real. The soldiers had looked a little roughed up, but receiving medical attention. My assumption was this was from Al Nasayria. LBC, Egypt TV, Al Jazeera are all allowed to get around much easier than western journalists, it appears.
This appeared live from Iraq at about 10:45 a.m. Eastern Time Sunday.

(JapanTV showed report on Kim Jong il. He watches CNN regularly. Imagine his thoughts watching Iraq!)

Because Russia never has been and never will do things to help liberate anyone. You are probably jealous that part of our motivation is to help people. You are probably also upset that we swept up Afghanistan in a matter of months.

He did it before! This is normal!

We need to respond immediately! (and not JUST with prayers)
While we're at it, take out some T.V. stations, starting with Iraqi T.V.

The Geneva Convention only applies to the US. ...and Israel.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Certainly the reason that Sadaam welcomed these people.

I've heard of the torture of your P.O.W.s. There are tapes on the internet. It is absolutely disgusting. And, I support Russias involvement in Chechnya. Today is not a good day to come here and start saying this sh-t though. We aren't used to dealing with these animals.

"The world turns against Iraq."
I doubt it; but AMERICA will turn against Iraq, that's the important thing.
To: Zipporah
link please.
To: sinkspur
Surely you aren't serious. Saddam not do anything like this? Come on now. The whole world turn against Iraq? Again, come on now. Are you including the French in that?
