Are you old enough to remember Viet Nam. There was a common practice there called fragging. It referred to throwing a fragmentation grenade at one's superior officer. I guess that war does funny things to people's heads.

My husband served in VietNam. I would not call fragging a "common practice" there. It happened, but it was not all that common, IMHO.
