Jim Lacey just reported in a phone interview on Fox that he believes the motive was "a misplaced belief in his Muslim faith". He also said that two of the injuries was very serious including the one that died.

"a misplaced belief in his Muslim faith". I heard that. They have been tip toeing around this all night and will continue to do so. Lacey will be muzzled.

I Heard this and I was so proud of him for telling the TRUTH after all the BS . You shall know the truth, and the Truth shall set you free.

I got Lacey saying it was his opinion the guy was "striking out as an interpretation of his Muslim faith."
That's the ONLY interpretation of the Muslim faith.

If we find out this dude was mouthing off for several days about Islam, already causing concern, it was highly stupidly PC of the men in charge to let him hang around with access to weaponry.

I was listening to CNN radio, and Aaron Brown was trying his best to make it seem like the guy was just ticked off at the Colonel for some reason or the other. Jim Lacey set him straight; said there's no way the guy even KNEW the Colonel because the attacker had only been attached to this unit for a short time. But apparently it had been time enough for them to notice that he had some 'issues', wasn't doing his work well, or in a timely fashion. They knew the guy was trouble, but they must never have imagined this.
I guess they'll be on the lookout for it now.
Aaron Brown said something else earlier that just p*issed me off so bad. He actually took time to apologize to ANTI-WAR protesters for having made it sound like the Pro-Military rallies had been as large as the Anti-War ones. He said he didn't want to OFFEND any of them, by diminishing their efforts. What a putz!
