That's the story I was talking about earlier.

Dr. Bob Arnot reporting for MSNBC was with that unit, 1st MEF. Iraqi soldiers were waving white flags and had adopted the instructed position for surrender. When the Marines approached them, hidden Iraqi soldiers ambushed them.

Pentagon says "trust embedded reporters", but all the news agencies start out by telling us that the embedded reporters are operating under coalition reporting restrictions, meaning they can only say what the military authorizes. It was an embedded reporter who broke the chem. weapons plant story, ergo, it must have been approved by the military, ergo, they know it is a chem. weapons plant.

They are getting it secured, getting independent verification and covering their butts. When all I's are dotted and Ts crossed, this will be the story to destroy the left. The left will just shift to the next thing.. they will backtrack, sidetrack, crosstrack, disrail etc.. but any American who has any sense whatsoever will be forced to admit that the left has gone looney...
