One word about Peter Jennings. He and his wife spoke at my graduation. His wife started and she was absolutely disgusting. My father almost walked out. Basically, everything in the world was absolutely horrible and it was all Reagan's fault. Peter got up and his first words were, "Well, on a lighter note.." everyone let out a sigh of relief. At that time I got the impression that Jennings was left of center but not a complete flamer like his wife. It may be that her continued influence and the dark days of '92-2000 sent him fully over to the Dark Side.

Then, they even implied that with all the Iraqi "successes" so far, the Iraqis might retake the Southern oil fields, and set them on fire.

LOL. If the Iraqi Republican Guard retakes the southern oil fields, I'll drink a quart of Mobil 1 on the CBC news.
