In case anyone is just joing us, the 100 first airborne division is now in striking distance of Baghdad. They are getting prepared ...! Also breaking, the U.S has just received serious causliaties in one of the towns. The US is changing strategies to use airpower to take out snipers and embedded enemies.

I'm just absolutely furious at the news reporter saying there was an attack on some humvees and there MAY have been captives. This is TOTAL SPECULATION....NOT News. Irresponsible!!!! The Bias is bad enough.

No. The Iraqis have been boasting about false victories all night (day) long. No coalition planes or pilots are unaccounted for. Its just propaganda lies.

I wasn't at the rally - just spreading the news, sending the reports to local papers and hoping lurking mainstream press (and esp. our troops!) read them here.
Yesterday's rally reports are awesome....from all across the country Americans came out to support the troops. When certain unnamed major networks and papers ignore the American people, they will be considered as honorable and trustworthy as the Iraqi Info Minister from here on out, imho.
Sent the report to the Sarasota Herald Tribune w/ the reminder:
What you will never see at an anti-American rally:
I noticed a gentleman in a wheelchir struggle & succeed in raising himself to stand for the National Anthem...
State Senator Mike Bennett who reminded us that it is the soldier, not the reporter, who gives us our free press...
the lines of signs & waving flags stretched a good distance along 41! The same enthusiastic response prevailed.....horns, cheers, waves & motorists yelling support!...
The crowd was a great mixture of parents with young children & seasoned citizens, teenagers, Marine veterans with their Marine flags, many other Military Veterans wearing their hats & jackets and Freepers spread among the throng.
Young Republicans raised some money for the families of the troops.
American flags waving.
People picking up their trash.
Gratitude.

An elderly gentlemen acquantance lived in NYC during the World War II period. He can remember the Nazis marching in the streets.
10,000 protestors in NY is what part of the population of NYC???

Well my children are stirring - one would like breakfast and the other our internet connection. (I only have two - you are a hero in my book.) I'll check back in later. I enjoyed having coffee with all of you.
God bless our troops.

No reports...
All we are seeing is the march to BAG by the 3rd ID...
No word on the whereabouts of the 101st..82nd.....Brits Desert Rats.
Someone I think is in for a surprise near and around Baghdad....when those forces pop up...

ABC reporting 11 allied personnel taken captive. Support personnel who took a wrong turn on the road north.
