Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
To all who helped this get started, thank you!
Special thanks to An.American.Expatriate for staring the daily threads, Mo1 for the screamer, the AdminMods for their tolerance, and, of course, Belly Girl...

He was physically threatened on the second night of bombing. He came out and said that he saw a direct hit on the republican guard headquarters. Immediately after he came back on and his voice was noticeably scared. He said that he had just been told that those areas MAY have been civilians.
I am not sure if he is still under duress or what. The CNN team was expelled because the Baathists didn't like what they were reporting. The Sky News fellow is either being a shmuck because he wants to keep his status there in Iraq, or he is under duress. He does sound increasingly more shrill, but I can't figure out exactly why.

Im not that big of a Nirvana fan, acoustic is good though, but their music just never struck me as anything amazing, decent, but nothing worthy of the praise they seem to get, but the Foo Fighters I like, I didnt know they were even connected to Nirvana at first, jsut liked their sound
I dont care for the new CD as much though as their old stuff, favorite is The Colour and the Shape

Wow, almost sounds like it was planned, very suspicious...

If he isn't executed, he will be buried so deep in a military prison, we will thankfully never hear about him again. Ick. What a disappointment.

One (or two) US soldier has done more harm to US soldiers than all of Iraq has so far....that makes me physically ill.

To think, a large percentage of American casualties are now due to one of their own... 'tis a sad situation, I hope he is shown no mercy
To: thedugal

I wouldn't call him one of our own; his heart is with bin Laden.
