Ping you guys! Forward as you want. Zip & Prov, you'll have to fill in on the content of the speeches. BTW, the media just stated it was 2,000. I should have posted more of the panorama shots, but I do believe they are off a bit.

Col Ballard said he uses a picture of Jane Fonda in his urinal for his aiming. He was super. Very much a conservative and a big supporter of Bush somewhat to the consternation of our governor who did some squirming while the Colonel was speaking.

Great pics!! We loved the rally! Wife and I were there right behind the guy with the green "Thank You Troops" sign and the soldier being interviewed with our sign " We Support American Troops". Hope to make it to Columbia Sat barring fubars!!

Great job, Missourians! Isn't it great to see our numbers grow day by day? Our troops certainly need our support now more than ever before - especially with the news media magnifying every little piece of bad news these last few days. Again, great job!

The Rally ROCKED!
Hi everyone! Couldn't have asked for better weather. As Bluesagewoman stated the weather blessed the rally event with thee most picturesque spring time weather. It was my first visit to Jefferson city which is a very impressive town. Drenched in charm and extremely "clean". After the Pro rally I made an effort to play tourist before heading over to the VFW hall for some home cooked chili dogs and mingle with the locals. The people of Jeff city are really down to earth and affiliable. Enjoyed chatting with them. Sob...sob walking around Jeff city reminded me of how nice and convienent it is living and working in a city where everything's so easily accessible. Having been born and raised in Chicago I sure miss that aspect but alas I opted for country living and we don't always get the best of both worlds. If you ever get the chance, I recommend visiting Jefferson city and near by Lake of the Ozarks which also looked really interesting and similiar to fun town Branson. (Shameful tourist plug..Grin)
I'm typing this at the Jeff City Library. Lovin this...heh heh heh ...ahem back to topic.
Military medal of Honor recipient for herioc duty Mr. Ballard gave the best speech. Hoorahhh! It was quite apparent Ballard is a natural at the podium, interestingly more natural and at ease talking to a crowd than the seasoned politicians appeared to be. Hmmmm...possibly a future calling for Mr. Ballard? I'd vote for him!
Thanks for your time and concern Mr. Ballard. You deserve that medal! I salute you and the unselfish, courageous troops who protect us no matter the uncertain and dangerous obstacles they face.
FYI - Jefferson city Missouri is the FIRST TO DO AN OFFICIAL RALLY for the USA Troops! Bravo to the Heart Land.
Missouri, You ROCK, You ROLL! :)
